Storage Management Initiative-Specification (SMI-S)
SMI-S is the result of a significant storage industry initiative led by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) to significantly improve the management paradigm for management applications, the devices to be managed, and the administrators using them. Brocade fully supports this initiative in order to provide seamless integration with industry-leading third-party management tools and to enable unified management of IT environments. SMI-S and the accompanying Agent are available from Brocade as a standalone application.
