核心和边缘的选择
Brocade DCX Backbones有两种模块化机型。14U Brocade DCX专为大型企业网络设计,带有八个垂直刀片插槽,能够使用Brocade品牌4 Gbps或8 Gbps SFP,提供高达512个光纤通道端口。8U Brocade DCX-4S专为中型网络设计,有四个水平刀片插槽,最多提供256个光纤通道端口。

这两个型号都具有超高速机箱间链路(ICL)端口,可连接多达三个骨干网,在网络核心提供广泛的扩展性和灵活性。在网络边缘,企业可以使用Brocade 8 Gbps交换机、Brocade 48000导向器或者Brocade DCX-4S,来实现完整的骨干网级功能。

灵活的多协议架构
Brocade DCX系列支持 1/2/4/8/10 Gbps光纤通道和FICON、FCIP和IPFC。为了使用数据中心桥接(DCB)和Fibre Channel over Ethernet(FCoE)整合开放系统环境中的服务器连接,Brocade FCOE10-24 Blade采用高密度列末机箱配置。或者,也可以通过光纤通道ISL将Brocade 8000架顶式交换机连接到网络核心的 DCX Backbones。

原生的B系列和M系列连接使企业可以充分利用当前的博科投资,而没有任何风险、中断或管理复杂性。Brocade DCX Backbone包括一种Virtual Fabrics功能,能够将物理 SAN 划分为不同的逻辑Fabrics架构,并按照应用、业务部门、客户或流量类型等对它们进行隔离。可选的光纤通道集成路由不需要专用刀片或路由器,就能连接独立Fabrics架构中的服务器和存储设备。而基于远距离IP连接的可选SAN扩展则可以加快异地复制、备份和恢复速度。

基于Brocade FOS
Brocade DCX Backbones 利用强大的 Brocade Fabric OS® (FOS),能够提供众多独特功能,如瓶颈检测、最高用量者(高级性能监控的一部分)和适应性网络服务(包括入站速率限制、流量隔离和QoS等的一套工具)。这些高级功能通过Brocade Data Center Fabric Manager (DCFM)或命令行界面进行管理,有助于优化 Fabric架构行为和应用性能。

插件安全和灾难恢复解决方案
